Plot Summary

In the scorching aftermath of the fall of Tobruk in June 1942, Sergeant Joe Gunn commands an American M3 Lee tank nicknamed Lulubelle, grinding across the vast Libyan desert in retreat from Rommel’s advancing Afrika Korps.
