Plot Summary

Dashing reporter Vincent Bullit has just returned from covering the Spanish Civil War. Vincent Bullit is a handsome and adventurous war correspondent who has just returned from covering the Spanish Civil War. His editor, powerful newspaper magnate Fullerton, wants to send Bullit to China next for another dangerous assignment. Before sending him off, Fullerton invites Bullit to stay at his family’s country home, believing the peaceful environment will help Bullit write a series of articles about European affairs.
