Plot Summary

Walter Barnett (Wayne Morris), a brash newspaper reporter, arrives to interview famous actress Angela Merrova and discovers her dead in her apartment — stabbed, drained of blood. He files the sensational story, but the next day Angela appears alive and well at the newspaper office, denying any murder took place. Barnett is humiliated and nearly fired, but he knows what he saw.
