Plot Summary

Hans (Harry Earles) is a little person working in a traveling circus who becomes infatuated with the beautiful trapeze artist Cleopatra (Olga Baclanova). Cleopatra, learning that Hans has inherited a substantial fortune, cynically encourages his affections while secretly continuing her relationship with the strongman Hercules (Henry Victor). When Hans and Cleopatra marry, the circus’s community of sideshow performers — including Hans’s former fiancée Frieda (Daisy Earles) — extends an offer of welcome and acceptance at the wedding feast.
