Plot Summary

Michele de la Becque is a beautiful, wealthy, and thoroughly spoiled Parisian socialite whose life revolves around haute couture, lavish parties, and the attentions of her devoted fiancé Robert Dorant. When Nazi Germany conquers France in the spring of 1940, Michele’s privileged world collapses overnight.
