Plot Summary

Boston Blackie’s own experience as a reformed criminal inspires him to champion a progressive programme that gives selected convicts the chance to work outside prison walls and prove they deserve a second chance at honest life. Blackie personally vouches for a group of prisoners, staking his reputation and his own freedom on their good behaviour. If any of them commit a crime, Blackie will bear the consequences.
