Plot Summary

In the ancient English cathedral town of Cloisterham, John Jasper (Claude Rains) leads a tortured double life. By day he is the respectable choirmaster of the great cathedral, a pillar of the community who dotes lovingly on his young nephew Edwin Drood (David Manners).
