Plot Summary

Among them are a young married couple, a former soldier, a pregnant woman, and several others who must band together to survive.

As the survivors attempt to organise themselves and understand what has happened, they encounter a new and terrifying threat. Tall, faceless robots move methodically through the empty streets, and anyone killed by these mechanical invaders is reanimated as a zombie-like creature with blank white eyes, now serving the mysterious intelligence that controls the robots. The survivors realise they are facing not just survival in a devastated world but an active alien invasion that is converting the dead into soldiers.

Barricaded inside a hotel, the group faces escalating dangers from the robots and the walking dead while internal tensions threaten to tear them apart. Quinn works to discover the source of the alien signal controlling the robots, knowing that their only hope lies in finding and destroying whatever technology is directing the invasion before they are all killed or converted themselves.
